BISON, a part of ‘Bison International’- a worldwide supplier of high-quality adhesives & sealants for the professional & private markets has been closely associated with ‘Gulf Mechanical Engineers & Suppliers (GMES)’ for several years now. A three-Day seminar from October 5 – 7, 2015 on the ‘Glue Master Training’ was conducted by Mr. Bas Zetteler – Area Manager, Middle East & Mr. Stefan Uitterhoeve – Area Manager, Africa at the BISON GDT office located in Dubai Silicon Oasis.
Mr. Jayaraj Menon – Asst. Sales Manager, Mr. Swaroop Kumar Ullal – Senior Sales Executive, Mr. Sreekumar Shridharan – Sales Executive and Mr. Prajeesh Pradeep – Sales Engineer represented GMES at the seminar. The seminar witnessed BISON’s distributors in a large number from various countries namely Iran, Egypt, Jordan, Bahrain, Oman, Pakistan, Qatar and the UAE.
It provided a real time experience to all of 20+ participants highlighting an understanding of how the end-user do their job with adhesives and how to make product selection based on different applications. The sessions were highly interactive making it interesting as well as an informative one. In-depth product knowledge was imparted to the attendees that ensure an extra mileage to their future sales.
To keep the momentum going, quiz competitions were held amidst the sessions on each day of the seminar and the winners were rewarded with attractive prizes. Mr. Prajeesh Pradeep secured a win on the first day itself.
A pleasure trip was also arranged on the first evening post the seminar to the Dubai Mall followed by dinner at the exquisite location facing the infamous musical water fountain. The second evening was enjoyed at the Dubai Marina with a dinner on the yacht. Mr. Laxman Nayak – Key Accounts Manager, Middle East & Mr. Paul Middel – Sales Manager, GDT organized the entire program in a well-versed manner. The brilliant delivery of the sessions, the involvement by the participants, the cruise, the dinners coupled with the leisure tours made it a memorable time to remember.
