A two-decade long tradition of celebrating the Annual Staff Party along with their families was discontinued this season but for a higher cause. A decision was made by the Group with consent of its members to save the money from the function and donate it to Emirates Red Crescent for the Yemen War Martyrs.
It was a small effort on our part as we value the efforts of our soldiers and their dedication towards the country. Mr. Abdulla Al Hathboor, Chairman – AHG, Mr. M Salahuddin, CEO – AHG presented the same to Mr. Mohammed Zaroni – Manager, Emirates Red Crescent.
A small dinner was organized at the Radisson Blu, Deira on the 19th of March, 2016, to congratulate all the winners who received the ‘Best Employee Award’ for the year 2016 as well as those who have been with us for 30 years and 25 years respectively. Mr. Salahuddin expressed his gratitude towards the country and its men. Mr. Mohammed Zaroni appreciated the step taken by AHG towards the cause for two consecutive years and shared some wisdom of the role of Emirates Red Crescent across the world. It was a kind gesture on part of Mr. K M Shetty, General Manager – GMES/EMEESCO (Mech.) to deliver the vote of thanks for the evening.
