AHI SPONSORS FOR AN ENVIRONMENTAL CAUSE

by admin / 11 June 2016 / Published in News

The Emirates Environmental Group (EEG) and the Al Hathboor group (AHG) share a strong relationship for many years. As part of their value based educational programmes intended to promote environmental awareness and initiate a pro-active role in environmental protection, Al Hathboor International was one of the sponsors for this years’ ‘Environmental Drawing Competition’ with support from Daler-Rowney.

The theme of the competition was ‘Sharing our Planet’ for kids within the age group of 6-8 years and ‘Responsible Consumption’ for the age group of 9-11 years. It was held in the Sheikh Humaid Auditorium, Ajman.

The duration of the competition spans for three months from January till the end of March wherein the schools are required to select the 5 best official entries as per the theme given. This programme has a wide outreach and witnessed participation from a large number of government and private schools from all emirates. This year the registered entries crossed 8,500 just after announcement of the competition.

AHI awarded the winners and participants with trophies and goodie bags of Daler-Rowney art products and Nataraj Stationery materials. It enabled us to our showcase commitment towards environmental preservation and align the brand with the future leaders of sustainable development and in turn provide with a direct avenue to reach specific age-groups and segments of the consumer base. It was an effective implementation platform for widening our outreach to the younger generation – the future of tomorrow.
